Embedded Software Developers - New Grads

Description

As a member of a small group of engineers, the candidate will develop embedded networking software in C++ for embedded hardware platforms running Vxworks. This role requires extensive interactions with Hardware Design, Firmware Design and Manufacturing Engineering. The candidate will be involved in architecting, developing and implementing systems for new and existing products and systems. This position requires a candidate with a firm background in high performance networking systems, as well as solid real time embedded firmware and software design.

Skills

The following skills are core success factors for any candidate:

• Programming knowledge (ex. C/C++)
• Networking knowledge (ex. TCP/IP, ATM, Ethernet, IP routing, networking protocols, SNMP)
• One of:  FreeBSD, Unix, Linux

Any of the following skills would be an asset:

• Experience with network packet processor programming
• Understanding of DIAMETER
