Best Workplaces in Canada

Sandvine is celebrated as on of the “Best Workplaces in Canada” for a fourth consecutive year. The common thread that links all of the organizations awarded this distinction is trust. The Great Place to Work Institute Canada defines a great place to work as an environment where employees “trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people they work with”.

This list of “Best Workplaces in Canada” is compiled by Great Place to Work® Institute Canada. The competition process is based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from a 57-statement survey completed by a random selection of employees, along with their open-ended comments about their organization; the remaining one-third of the score comes from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture, including an evaluation of HR policies and procedures.

International Engineering Consortium (IEC) InfoVision Awards

Sandvine’s FairShare solution named finalist for the highly competitive and prestigious International Engineering Consortium (IEC) InfoVision Awards in the category of Access Network Technologies and Services.

InfoVision awards recognize the technologies, applications, products, advances and services that are most unique and beneficial to the information and communications technologies industry.

CTIA Emerging Technologies (E-Tech) Awards

Sandvine’s PTS 14700 was the third place winner in the Third Annual CTIA Emerging Technologies (E-Tech) Awards for Innovation in Service Creation and Development. The E-Tech Awards program gives industry recognition and acknowledges the best wireless products and services in the areas of Mobile CE (consumer electronics); Consumer Mobile Applications; Enterprise Solutions; Network Infrastructure; Mobile Widgets; and 4G.

Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year

The Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards honour entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in areas such as innovation, risk taking, company development, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Sandvine was a finalist for CNET Networks UK's Network/Storage "Product of the Year" award for its Network Integrity Suite.  The Sandvine Network Integrity Suite mitigates and eliminates malicious traffic on broadband service provider networks.

Communications Technology Reader’s Choice Award

Sandvine was awarded the 2005 Communications Technology Reader’s Choice Award for its Network Integrity Suite, taking proactive measures against bad traffic of all forms, mitigating the impact of worms, spam and DoS attacks both in the network and at the subscriber site.
